Photo documentation (photography) and live recording of natural history are the cornerstones of conservation tools. Unfortunately, there is limited systematic and comprehensive documentation of arthropods across the globe. In fact, the estimated number of arthropods is more than 5 million and till now only about a million of them has been studied and named.

The Jeev Paritran team is documenting the myriad arthropods found in different ecosystems (marine, desert, forest, city landscape) and habitats (water body, farm land, pasture land, home garden, and others).
