Our planet comprises of small inter-dependent ecosystems and in every healthy square inch of Earth, there are millions of organisms from millions of species. The Jeev Paritran team is documenting the myriad life forms supported by a home garden environment.

A garden is a super ecosystem which provides habitat to a diverse range of insects, spiders, birds, mammals and millions of organisms in the soil. Flowers in our gardens produce sugar (nectar) and protein (pollen), which is the main diet for many insects and birds. Every single species plays a significant role in helping the environment. A garden also effectively helps in reducing the amount of C02 in the Earth’s atmosphere.
